NCVT The National Council for Vocational Training, an advisory body, was set up by the Government of India. Private ITI is monitored by NCVT. The Council has been entrusted with the responsibilities of prescribing standards and curricula for craftsmen training, advising the Government of India on the overall policy and programs, conducting All India Trade Tests and awarding National Trade Certificates.

Hostel

Admission to the Institute for various trades are open to all candidates. No admission can be demanded by any one as a right.

The selection to the trade is based on aptitude test and

interview.

Candidates seeking admission to any trade must have passed SSC examination with P.C.M.

ElectricianThe following documents must be produced at the time of interview:

a) Certificate and Mark List

b) School leaving certificate (T. C.)

c) Adhar Card (applicant & parent)

d) Caste Certificate (OBC, SC, ST)

At the time of admission:

a) The original copy of the above certificates.

b) Certificate showing good character.

c) The candidate and his parents/guardians are jointly required to sign an undertaking form in the presence of Principal.

d) Fitness certificate must be produced from a registered medical practitioner.

e) 4 numbers of passport size photo. (3.5X4.5cm)

The academic year commences on first week of August every year.

All the training programmes at the Institute stress three essential components:

1. Academic Skill:- Functional reading and comprehension,

analysis, problem solving and decision making.

2. Life Skills :- Understanding and coping with the life and its challenges, value education and work ethics.

3. Work Skills:-

Understanding the basic theory of the trade and extended practical and hands on work experiences.

The Institute offers the following training programmes which are affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) DGE&T-6/24/10/2002-TC.

Fees and other charges are to be paid in advance in cash. The Institute reserves the right to increase the fees at any time of the year if the increment is necessary. If the trainee has decided to discontinue the entire fees has to be paid by trainee. Fees once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances. A fine of rupees 25/- will be charged, if the trainee fails to remit the fees in time.

Caution money is charged from trainee as a security against loss/damage of equipments. The amount will be refunded to the parents after deducting all the dues, when the trainee completes his training. If the trainee discontinues/is being dismissed or if the same is not claimed within two months after the completion of the training the deposit will not be refunded.

All trainees shall wear black pants and badami shirt (half sleeves) and black shoes in the Institute. (In winter the trainees shall wear a similar colour sweater only). Each student should have two sets of uniforms. They are strictly prohibited to wear any other dress during the class / hours. If anyone violates this rule will be fined Rs. 30 per day. Students with long hair. over grown beard, and shabby dress will not be allowed to enter the class and will be liable for disciplinary action.

Trainees who do not keep up to the requisite of 85% annual attendance are debarred from appearing for the final examination. If a student is absent from any test or examination, he will be deemed to have failed in the same test or examination.

Application for leave of absence will be made in writing by the student and countersigned by his parent/guardian. Such applications must reach the principal before the due date. Parent/guardian must give their specimen signature.

During the academic year of the Institute, the student will not be allowed to take leave for any other examinations.

The trainees should submit their weekly records to their respective instructors on every Monday. Absentees and late comers will not be exempted from this rule. Periodical reports are sent to the parents/guardians in order to inform them of the progress of their ward. These reports should be signed by the parents/guardians and returned to the Institute authorities.

CAUSE FOR SERIOUS ACTION

Trainees who do not show any aptitude or any progress in the first semester, lack of 90% attendance in the first 5 months, prolonged absence without leave, habitual laziness, in attentiveness in the class/workshop, stealing, disobedience, bad conduct, smoking and use of Alcoholic drinks, ragging. failure to respond to official notices and warnings etc. constitute causes for dismissing a trainee at any time by the authority.

GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

Trainees are expected to be punctual for assembly.

Late arrivals at and early departures from the class are regarded as absent for the whole day. Students are expected to take part in all activities

of the Institute.

Trainees are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.

Students shall keep their class rooms and workshops clean and in order. Tools and instruments are to be cleaned and oiled before they leave the premises at the end of each working day.

Students should make every effort to take care of the Institute and its property, and should not write on blackboards, nor scribble on tables, chairs and walls. Any wilful damage done to the property of the Institute will be dealt with as a breach of discipline.

The Institute will not be responsible for any loss by way of theft or otherwise.

Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any student found indulging in ragging will be summarily expelled from the Institute.

Day scholars are prohibited from entering the hostel & residential area in the campus without prior permission.

Prior permission must be availed by the student while appearing in any other examination during the scheduled training period.

Parents/guardians are expected to meet the Institute authorities at least once in 3 months to enquire about the progress of their ward and when called for.

When a student wants to discontinue from the Institute. his parent or guardian should intimate in writing, giving reasons for the same.

Making and receiving telephone calls by the trainees are normally not allowed.

Loud talking, loitering or congregating in the corridor. being a source of disturbance and annoyance to others, is not permitted.

No student has any authority over the employees of the Institute.

All students must attend industrial visits and other tours

arranged by the Institute to enhance their knowledge

and skills.

Name of Trainees absent from the Institute consecutively 10 days at a time without any information will be deleted from the register without any notification to the parents/guardians.

Trainees falling long illness and gives no written information within three days of his illness and at the end produces medical certificate will have no validity and the days will be marked as absent.

Certificate deposited to the office will only be given after the completion of the training.

No other studies will be allowed during the two years of training.

Use/possession of mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the premise.
